Your Rights Under the CCPA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives California residents the right to opt out of the "sale" of their personal information. Since we do not sell personal information, there is no sale to opt out of.

However, the CCPA also provides California residents with additional rights:

• Right to know: You can request information about what personal data we collect and how we use it.
• Right to delete: You can request deletion of your personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

What We Do With Your Data

We only use your data to provide and improve the Service:

• Your account information is used to authenticate you and manage your subscription.
• Your search queries are processed to deliver candidate results.
• Payment information is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

We share data with service providers (Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, etc.) only as necessary to operate the Service, not for their own marketing or commercial purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

For Developers in Our Search Results

Riem.ai surfaces developer profiles based on publicly available GitHub activity. We do not sell this information. If a Riem.ai customer requests enrichment on a profile, the additional information (such as contact details from third-party data providers) is used solely for that customer's recruiting outreach.

If you are a developer and would like to be excluded from search results entirely, you can opt out at any time by contacting privacy@riem.ai.
